Graz–Jun. 7, 2025
In advance of my friend and their daughter visiting in the next few months, I went out to Stadtpark to find their playground area. I decided to take a different route and found myself on Keplerstraße.
This is a small snack shop, but appears to be closed now.
This rather impressive building is the Rondo 🇦🇹.
There are lots of statues of Mary and baby Jesus here in Graz. Herewith a picture of one of them, plus the inscriptions at the base.
Dearest child, where are you going to? Think that I am your mother. Because I have a heartfelt love for you, always stand still and greet me!
I got no clue what this Latin inscription means.

Sorry this one is a bit out of focus. There are a couple of main betting parlor chains here, tipico and Admiral. This is one I hadn’t seen before. Sorry for the bad focus.

Who does not ask remains dumb
I never get tired of seeing the Uhrturm.
Passed by some people playing beach soccer/volleyball at Karmeliterplatz.
The sign at the left reads “In remembrance of the freedom fighters against and the victims of National socialism. The city of Graz.”
Paulustor
I got to the Paulustor (Paul Gate).
From the side where I approached, it doesn’t look like much.
But the other side is much more impressive.

At last! I found it.
You have to climb up the webbing to get to the top of the slide.
At the top of this series of steps, you can pump water down them.
