Fürstenstand

I have made several tries to get to Fürstenstand 🇦🇹, a vista point that is fairly high above Graz. Every road I have tried to use ends in „Privatgrund“ (private road / private land), so I haven’t gotten there yet.

At any rate, some pictures from my latest attempt. Some red flowers on the way...

And a trail marker. Hurray; I must be on the right path! But then the markers just disappeared and I had no idea where to follow.

I tried another approach, and on the way there, saw this old church:

I got sidetracked on the way up and passed by a house with an orange cat outside. I didn’t try to pet it.

Negative Space Signage

After giving up on Fürstenstand (at least for the time being), I went back to ground level and saw these on the way home.

Not exactly negative space, but the outline of the bear complements the capital B nicely.

Truck for NB Kältetechnik; the B in the logo has the silhouette of a bear instead of the two open areas.

And this truck from TK Elevator (formerly Thyssen-Krupp) has double negative space; the space under the T looks like an elevator car, and the K and E join to form a left-pointing arrow in the negative space.
