I went to the Herbstmesse (Autumn Fair) today. It was sort of “meh”. Not much very exciting, but I did get some pictures.

This was a contest with three prizes of 100,000 Euro...cents, which works out to 1,000 Euro. Not bad, but this seems somewhat misleading advertising. I asked the person at the booth if the prize would be given as individual one-Euro-cent pieces. They said no, it would be 1,000 Euro by bank transfer.

This was the frame for an arrangement that a florist was building. I didn’t stick around to see how it came out, but it looks sort of interesting.

There was a section with an exhibit of American cars:

A burned car with bullet holes. Can’t get much more American than that!

Yellow Chevrolet with black areas as if the car had been burned, and “bullet holes” in the doors.

Still the ugliest thing on four wheels, if you ask me...

I went out to the food truck area and got a small bowl of ravioli; it was very good. Then I went to the amusement park area and had a schnitzel sandwich, and then a crepe for dessert. Shouldn’t have eaten so much, but it was very good.

An humorous-looking grafitto and a sticker that appealed to me:
