Graz–March 2026

Various photos taken in Graz during March.

Trees painted on walls separated by a door.

These were on a building on Annenstraße.

Ornate semi-circular reliefwork with geometric motif at bottom. On top a face with a beard.
Reliefwork of cherub. Beneath it, flowers

It’s Easter time. Here are some photos at a chocolate shop in Franziskanerplatz. The second one has a clever wordplay; „Neingang“ is a combination of the German words for “no” and “entrance”.

Display case at a chocolate shop. On shelves are rabbits with their paws folded under their chins.
Sign with a person drawn in a crayon-abstract style. Text: NEINGANG! Der Eingang ist etwas weiter links!

No entrance! The entrance is a bit further to the left.

Niche with a statue of a woman in a flowing white, red, and blue dress. Her hands are folded in prayer.

Not part of the chocolate shop, but at Franziskanerplatz.

This isn’t on Schloßberg; it’s on a building on Sporgasse.

They’re really serious about warning people not to smoke.

Stick figure of a man climbing up a steep wall.

Drawn on a wall on the stairway to the top of Schloßberg/Uhrturm.

Badly aged wall painting of Venus Ascending from the Waters

This is on a building on Eggenbergergürtel, nowhere near any of these other places, but it was a part of the building I hadn’t seen before.
